Christian Ellereit

Christian Ellereit has a strong background in finance and operations, primarily in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Christian has held various leadership roles, including Head of Finance & Operations Europe at Travere Therapeutics and Consultant in Finance & Commercial Operations at their own consultancy, Christian Ellereit Consulting. Christian also has experience as Head of Finance and Operations / Europe and RoW at Santhera Pharmaceuticals. Prior to that, they held several finance and administration positions at InterMune and Alcon, where they were responsible for operational management, financial planning, and team expansion. Christian Ellereit has a solid foundation in finance, with earlier experience at Alcon Laboratories and Deutsche Bank. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong business partnering skills and expertise in setting up hybrid business models.

Christian Ellereit has a diverse education history. Christian attended Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, where they obtained a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Board Management in 2023-2024, and a Master of Corporate Finance in 2006-2007. Christian also received certification as a Certified Professional for SAP FI & CO from the Chamber of Commerce Freiburg, Germany in 2011. In 1993-1998, they completed a Diplom Betriebswirt (FH) in Economies from Offenburg University of Applied Sciences. Christian Ellereit also participated in a study abroad program in Economics at Regional Technical College Galway/Ireland in 1997 and obtained certification as a Certified Bank Professional from Deutsche Bank AG, Lahr/Germany, in 1989-1991.
