Leah Goodman's work experience begins in 2013 when they served as a NCCC Team Leader for AmeriCorps, where they facilitated a nine-person team in various community development projects. In 2014, they worked as a Volunteer Coordinator for A Safe Haven Foundation, developing programs to engage citizens and corporations to improve the lives of the organization's residents. Leah also managed a food pantry serving 200 families per meal service.

From 2014 to 2016, Leah worked as a CSR Program Manager and Community Engagement Specialist for Chicago Cares, where they organized corporate volunteer events and managed logistical elements such as supplies, budgets, transportation, and scheduling.

Leah then transitioned into the role of a self-employed Sustainability Consultant from 2016 to 2018. During this time, they worked with various clients on sustainability projects.

In 2017, Leah briefly worked as a Sustainability Consultant for Spraying Systems Co., focusing on sustainability initiatives within the company.

From 2017 to 2018, Leah served as a Business Development professional for the Sustainability Hyper-Innovation Collaborative (SHIC), a rapid innovation lab that aimed to create profitable solutions to global problems, with a focus on sustainable transportation. SHIC was selected as a Commitment to Action for Clinton Global Initiative U in 2017.

Leah joined OneCause in 2019 as a Fundraising Event Manager, where they coordinated fundraising events for the organization.

In 2018, Leah joined AECOM as a Consultant, specializing in organizational strategy alignment, return on mission, COVID's long-term social and environmental implications, space prediction modeling, resiliency prioritization, GHG accounting, Science Based Targets, and sustainable real estate alignment. Leah later took on the role of Senior Consultant before leaving in 2021.

Most recently, Leah began working at OhmConnect in 2021 as a Business Development and Partnerships Manager, focusing on developing partnerships and expanding business opportunities for the company.

Throughout their career, Leah has also been a Board Member for Women in Cleantech and Sustainability since 2020, contributing their expertise to the organization's mission.

Leah Goodman's education history includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Sustainable Business Practices from the University of Oregon Lundquist College of Business, which they obtained from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography (Urban and Regional Planning) and Environmental Studies from Western Michigan University from 2007 to 2011.
