Roderick Weerman

Managing Director Skydoo and Strategic Client Relations at Ohpen

Roderick Weerman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and positions. Roderick is currently the Managing Director of Skydoo and Strategic Client Relations at Ohpen, a position they have held since January 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Transition Director at Ohpen from December 2020 to December 2021.

Before joining Ohpen, Weerman held the position of Directeur at Skydoo, a web application for facilitating mortgage applications and approvals, from June 2014 onwards. Roderick was responsible for application assessment, digital analysis, and control of relevant documentation and information.

From December 2004 to December 2020, Weerman served as the Managing Director of Davinci, where they oversaw general affairs, including finance, legal, risk & compliance, and HR. Roderick also led the policy for Davinci Ventures, their subsidiary.

Weerman was the Directeur at NBWO, specializing in providing property model values. Roderick joined NBWO in August 2011 and left in December 2012 when the company became part of Calcasa.

Roderick began their career as a Legal Advisor at Fairfood International in November 2004, a non-profit organization focused on increasing sustainability in the food and beverage industry. Roderick remained with Fairfood until July 2011.

Weerman also served as the General Manager at Sport2Media from May 2006 to November 2010. In this role, they managed various aspects of the company's operations.

Prior to their positions in the business sector, Weerman worked as a Lawyer at Houthoff Buruma from August 1999 to July 2003, specializing in intellectual property, ICT, and corporate restructuring law.

Roderick Weerman completed their VWO degree at Lienward College from 1987 to 1993. Roderick then pursued higher education at Utrecht University from 1993 to 1999, where they obtained a degree in Law with a focus on Company Law and Competition Law. In addition, they attended The University of Edinburgh from 1997 to 1998 for further studies in Law, specializing in European Competition Law.
