Rabbi Dr. Kenneth Brander

Rabbi Dr. Kenneth Brander has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Rabbi Dr. Kenneth currently serves as the President & Rosh haYeshiva at Ohr Torah Stone Institutions since August 2018. Prior to this, they held the position of President Elect & Rosh haYeshiva at the same institution since January 2018. From September 2013 onwards, Rabbi Dr. Brander worked at Yeshiva University in the role of Vice President University and Community Life. Rabbi Dr. Kenneth also served as the David Mitzner Dean at the Yeshiva University Center for the Jewish Future from August 2005 to June 2014. Before joining Yeshiva University, they were the Senior Rabbi at Boca Raton Synagogue from 1991 to 2005.

Rabbi Dr. Kenneth Brander earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Philosophy from Florida Atlantic University from 2004 to 2016. Rabbi Dr. Kenneth also earned an Advanced Rabbinical Degree in Jewish Law and Bioethics with a focus on reproductive technology from Machon Puah, Rav Menachem Burstein, and Chief Rabbi Rav Mordechai Eliyahu from 1997 to 1998. Prior to that, they obtained their Rabbinical Ordination from Yeshiva University Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary from 1984 to 1987. Rabbi Dr. Kenneth Brander also holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Yeshiva University, which they earned from 1981 to 1984. Rabbi Dr. Kenneth'seducation journey began at Yeshivat Shaalvim from 1979 to 1981, where they studied Jewish/Judaic Studies.
