Bob Rogers

Bob Rogers has a strong background in various roles related to scientific advisory, data science, and executive leadership. Bob is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Oii, a position they have held since September 2021. Prior to this role, Bob was the Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Advisor at BeeKeeperAI and RecoverX starting from January 2021. Bob also served as an Expert in Residence for AI at the Center for Digital Health Innovation at UCSF from June 2018. Additionally, Bob has been an Advisory Board Member at the Institute for Applied Computational Science at Harvard University since February 2019.

Before transitioning into advisory and executive positions, Bob held key positions at Intel Corporation as the Chief Data Scientist for IT Transformation in the Data Center Group from April 2017 to June 2018, and as the Chief Data Scientist for Analytics and AI Solutions from January 2015 to March 2017. Bob also served as the Chief Scientist and Co-Founder at Apixio from January 2010 to January 2015.

Bob's earlier career experiences include founding Counterpart Consulting, specializing in innovative marketing and technical development for medical devices, electronic medical records, and hedge fund analytics fields from July 2008 to July 2010. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Product Manager at Carl Zeiss Meditec from May 2006 to July 2008, where they led the development of new products in the glaucoma diagnostic sector. Bob's career began as the President of Tri-Valley Capital, a hedge fund specializing in quantitative, ultra-short-term trading in futures, from June 2002 to May 2006. During their tenure, they were responsible for raising capital, corporate strategy, and marketing.

Bob Rogers pursued their education starting from 1983 to 1987, when they attended the University of California, Berkeley. Bob completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Physics during this period. Following this, from 1987 to 1991, Bob Rogers attended Harvard University, where they obtained their PhD in Physics.
