Maja De Wet has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. In 2011, they began their career as an IT Support Assistant at North West University Potchefstroom Campus. Following this, they worked as a Medical Receptionist and Accounting Assistant for Dr. M.J. Kleynhans (Specialist Physician) from 2011 to 2012.

In 2012, Maja joined REMAX Real Estate as a Receptionist and Personal Assistant, a role they held until 2014. During the same period, they also worked as a Personal Assistant for JD Property Property Development and Construction.

From 2014 to 2018, Maja was employed at allaboutXpert, initially as a Technical Support Coordinator and later as a Business System Analyst. In this role, they managed the online tracking system, performed system administration and configuration, and compiled call status reports. Additionally, they were responsible for various administrative tasks as a personal assistant to the development manager.

In 2018, Maja transitioned to Facevalue, where they became a Business Analyst. Here, they played a crucial role in establishing and implementing the development lifecycle process. Maja also facilitated an agile process for the design team and collaborated with international tech and design teams. Maja'stenure at Facevalue lasted until October 2019.

Currently, Maja is employed as an IT Servicedesk Coordinator at Oikocredit, a position they assumed in October 2019.

Maja De Wet graduated from North-West University / Noordwes-Universiteit in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts - BA degree in Counseling Psychology. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained certifications such as Professional Scrum Master 1 (PSM) from Scrum.org in November 2019 and Agile Fundamentals: Scrum, Kanban & Scrumban - 2019 from Udemy in March 2019.
