Vincent van Dugteren

Head of Innovation Hub at Oikocredit

Vincent van Dugteren has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Vincent is currently employed at Oikocredit as the Head of Innovation Hub, a position they have held since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Oikocredit as the Global Financial Inclusion Specialist & FinTech lead from September 2019 to July 2022, and as the Business Development Specialist & FinTech lead from January 2016 to September 2019.

In addition to their work at Oikocredit, Vincent served as a Non-Executive Board Member at Avante.com.vc from July 2018 to December 2020. Vincent has also worked as a Management Consultant at Right On! Consultancy, where they provided business development services to IT, financial services, and FinTech companies in East Africa from June 2009 to December 2015.

Vincent's previous roles include Business Development at Musoni from April 2012 to May 2014, Regional Director Benelux at GetmeaVA from August 2010 to January 2012, and Corporate Development/Internal M&A at ING from May 2007 to March 2009.

Vincent also gained experience in marketing support at Royal Grolsch N.V., a leading beer brand in the Netherlands, from March 2004 to September 2007. Furthermore, Vincent worked at Strukton Rail, where they focused on building a strategic vision for 2015 from February 2005 to September 2005.

Vincent's early career included a role at Priva, where they designed an order-intake system for the worldwide dealer network of Priva Agro systems, a world market leader in process automation for indoor horticulture, from February 2005 to June 2005.

Vincent van Dugteren's education history is as follows:

Vincent van Dugteren completed the Strategic Leadership in Inclusive Finance Program at Harvard Business School Executive Education in 2022. In 2023, they pursued a Certificate in Design Thinking for Innovation from Harvard Business School Online.

Prior to that, Vincent earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, from 2013 to 2015. In 2016 to 2017, they attended the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management where they became a Certified Expert in SME Finance.

Vincent began their academic journey by pursuing a MSc in International Management at the University of Twente from 2005 to 2007. Vincent obtained their first degree, a BSc in Business & IT, also from the University of Twente, which they completed from 2000 to 2005.
