Oil Spill Response
Lucy Bly is an experienced professional in the oil spill response sector, currently serving as the Aberdeen Manager at Oil Spill Response Ltd since March 2012. In this role, Lucy has actively participated in various North Sea Exercises and served as a Technical Advisor during live response situations. Lucy also held an interim position as Commercial Manager, where responsibilities included managing a Global Business Development team and conducting financial analyses. Prior to these roles, Lucy worked as a Technical Development Specialist and Senior Oil Spill Response Specialist, contributing to significant industry workgroups and ensuring operational readiness during oil spill incidents. Lucy holds a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science from the University of Southampton, earned between 2002 and 2005.

Oil Spill Response Limited (OSRL) is the largest international industry-funded oil spill response cooperative which exists to respond to oil spills wherever in the world they may occur, by providing oil spill preparedness, oil spill response and subsea well intervention services. We are wholly owned by several of the most environmentally responsible oil and gas companies, and our membership represents the majority of global oil production. We currently employ 275 people across 10 locations around the world.
