Ines Trelles Effinger

Ines Trelles Effinger serves as the Global Head of Trading at Oilmar DMCC since September 2024, following a tenure as Senior Manager in Commodities Markets at EY where Ines provided strategic advice to leading commodity trading, oil, gas, and utility companies on various critical aspects including risk management and trading strategies. Ines has over a decade of experience at Peninsula, progressing through roles such as Head of Business Management, Senior Trader, and Physical Trader. In these positions, Ines implemented strategic initiatives, managed high-profile client relationships, and oversaw significant trading operations. Earlier career experiences include serving as a Commercial Department Specialist at GOL Linhas Aéreas and participating in an internship with the Organization of American States. Ines holds an MBA from London Business School and a Bachelor of Science in International Business and Economics from Universidad Católica del Uruguay.
