Mayank Soni

Mayank Soni is a Geologist at Oilmax Energy Pvt Ltd since August 2021, specializing in petrophysical analysis, field evaluations, and production data analysis. Key responsibilities include conducting assessments for the Indrora Field, participating in projects like the Amguri Field Reserve Certification and Field Development Plan, and ensuring the integration and quality control of geological data in the Rajgaon Coal Block. Prior experience includes industrial training at Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd with a focus on well log interpretation and reservoir estimation, as well as a summer research internship at Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology where geochemical analyses of igneous rock samples were performed. Mayank also completed a research internship at IISER Bhopal, gaining hands-on experience with geostatistical analysis of rainfall data. Mayank holds an Integrated B.Tech and M.Tech degree in Geology/Earth Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
