Richard Pfister

Richard Pfister is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in oenology, viticulture, and renewable energy. As the CEO of Proxipel SA since 2012, Richard has led the development and commercialization of mobile pellet manufacturing units. Richard also serves as a consultant in oenology and viticulture with Oenoflair and as the scientific secretary for the International Organisation of Vine and Wine since 2019. Additionally, Richard has held the position of Chairman of the Board at Praxis Energia SA, focusing on renewable energy projects, and has been involved with the Fondation Internationale des Sciences et Culture de la Vigne et du Vin since 2013. Richard has contributed to the Swiss journal Objectif as an editor and has previously served as an associate at BUYECO Sàrl, promoting renewable energy sales. Previous roles include leadership positions in the Association Les Locales and experience in financial consulting and oenology. Richard holds an engineering degree in oenology from the Ecole d'ingénieurs de Changins and has continued education at reputable institutions such as EPFL and Imperial College London.
