Ian Comyns

Ian Comyns has a diverse work experience in various industries. Ian is currently working as a Project Worker at Oji Fibre Solutions since 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Innovation Designer at Oji Fibre Solutions from 2017 to 2021, where they were responsible for structural design in different segments and conducted board testing.

Before joining Oji Fibre Solutions, Ian was a Sales Manager at Spicers Australia from 2012 to 2016. In this role, they led a sales team, managed stock forecasting, and increased sales of Sign and Display products by 30% and Industrial Packaging products by 25%.

Ian also worked at Inpack Pty Ltd, where they served as a General Manager from 2008 to 2012, and as a Sales Executive from 2000 to 2009. Ian started their career at Amcor as a Production Manager from 1995 to 1998 and gained experience as an Estimator/Sample Maker at Riverwood Packaging from 1994 to 1995 and as an Estimator at Kiwi Packaging from 1992 to 1993.

Ian Comyns has a diverse education history spanning over several years. In 1993, they completed a Certificate in Management from the New Zealand Institute of Management. From 1996 to 2002, Ian pursued a degree in Business with a specialization in Operations and Logistics Management at the University of Southern Queensland. Following this, they went on to obtain an MBA from the same university from 2005 to 2011.
