David Joseph

David Joseph is currently the engineering manager II - backend at OkCupid. Prior to that, they were the head of engineering for the data management business line at Symbiont. David has also worked as a software engineer and senior software engineer at Backtrace I/O, where they were the first engineer hired and led several key product projects. David has a wealth of experience in debugging, implementing Go libraries, and improving software performance.

David Joseph completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the University of Michigan. Prior to that, they attended Stuyvesant High School.

David Joseph reports to Brendon Scheinman, VP, Engineering. They are on a team with Michael P. Geraci - Senior Software Engineer Web, Joshua Kahn - Senior Software Engineer, Backend, and Michael Black - Senior Software Engineer, Backend.
