Alf Sebastian Lackner

Principal Reservoir Engineer at Okea

Alf Sebastian Lackner has a diverse work experience in the field of reservoir engineering and project management. Alf Sebastian is currently working at OKEA ASA as a Principal Reservoir Engineer, responsible for reservoir engineering operations at the Draugen field. Prior to that, they worked at PRORES AS as a Senior Staff Reservoir Engineer and Product Owner for Sendra, where they provided reservoir engineering consultancy services and led various numerical simulations to solve engineering problems. Alf Sebastian also worked at Statoil in different roles, including Project Manager, Discipline Leader in Reservoir Technology, and Principal Engineer in Reservoir Technology. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Stipendiat at NTNU, focusing on research related to relative permeability, capillary pressure, and three-phase flow in rocks. Alf Sebastian also gained experience as a Researcher at Hydro ASA and briefly worked as a Teacher at Akershus fylkeskommune, Ås videregående skole.

Alf Sebastian Lackner's education history includes receiving a Cand.scient. degree in Environmental Physics from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (UMB) from 1995 to 2001. Alf Sebastian then pursued further education at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained a Dr. ing. degree in Reservoir Technology. In 2001, they also completed a Grundfag i musikkvitenskap (Introductory Course in Musicology) at NTNU. Lastly, in 2017 to 2018, they attended NTNU again to pursue a Praktisk-pedagogisk utdanning (PPU) in Education.
