Hans Petter Nordby

Hans Petter Nordby is a highly experienced legal professional with a strong background in the energy sector, currently serving as Chief Legal Advisor and Lead Legal Advisor for OKEA ASA since September 2019. Nordby has held significant roles throughout a distinguished career, including Country Manager and Legal Manager at Chevron Norge AS from 2000 to 2019, where responsibilities encompassed all legal aspects of operations on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and in Greenland. Additionally, Nordby has served as a Board Member for various organizations, including Stiftelsen Barentshavkonferanser and Chevron Scandinavia AS, and participated as an External Examiner in Petroleum Law at the University of Oslo. With previous experience as a lawyer at Advokatfirmaet Schjødt and a Senior Executive Officer at the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy, Nordby holds a law degree from the University of Oslo.
