Rune Olav Pedersen

Rune Olav Pedersen possesses extensive experience in the legal and corporate sectors, currently serving as a Non Executive Director at OKEA ASA since June 2019. Prior to this role, Rune was with PGS from October 2010 to July 2024, where responsibilities included serving as President & CEO and Executive Vice President & General Counsel, overseeing vital global functions such as Corporate Development, Communication, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, and Strategic Customer Relations. Rune also held the position of Partner at Arntzen de Besche, emphasizing expertise in oil and energy law, and served as a Deputy Judge at Ytre Follo District Court. Educational qualifications include an Executive MBA from London Business School and a Master of Laws from the University of Oslo, complemented by a Post Graduate Diploma in EC Competition Law from King's College London. Additionally, Rune has military experience as a Non Commissioned Officer in the Royal Norwegian Navy.
