Warren Birch

Warren Birch is a highly experienced geological advisor and consultant with a diverse background in reservoir characterization, prospect evaluation, and geological modeling. Currently serving as a Geological Advisor at OKEA ASA, Warren has contributed to major projects in the Norwegian Sea, including the Draugen and Hasselmus fields. With a career spanning several leading companies such as Cairnton Geoscience, TenzorGEO Ltd, Ithaca Energy, and Sterling Resources, Warren specializes in Development Geology while also providing expertise in various geoscience fields. Previous roles include Senior Geologist at CNRL and Kerr McGee, where Warren was instrumental in planning and drilling multiple wells across various international locations. An academic background includes a PhD focused on the tectonic evolution of Greece from the University of Liverpool.
