Jack Barufka is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in intellectual property law. Currently serving as a Partner and Firmwide Intellectual Property Section Leader at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman since May 1992, Jack has represented high-profile cases such as Black & Decker, Inc. and is also a Partner at Okeanos since May 2017. In addition to practice, Jack contributed to legal education as an Adjunct Professor of Law at The George Washington University from January 2000 to June 2016, teaching "Patent Strategy & Management" to upper-level law students. Jack's academic credentials include an LL.M in Intellectual Property from The George Washington University Law School, a JD from American University Washington College of Law, and a BS in Physics from Binghamton University.
