James Allen

James Allen has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. James is currently working at Okera as a Staff Software Engineer, starting in January 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Lyft as a Staff Software Engineer from October 2018 to May 2020. James also held the position of Software Engineering Manager and Architect at Ex Libris from January 2013 to December 2017. Before that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Evri from January 2011 to September 2012, and at TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. from October 2009 to September 2010. James began their career as a Lead Software Engineer at CDG from March 2006 to October 2009, and at Tallan as a Lead Software Developer from January 2000 to March 2003, where they were involved in various web-application projects for columbiahouse.com, an online music and DVD retail club.

James Allen pursued their tertiary education from 1991 to 1994 at the University of Puget Sound. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with a specialization in Natural Sciences, with a focus on Physics.
