Danne L. Johnson

Danne L. Johnson, JD, CDP, is a distinguished legal professional and academic with extensive experience in law, training, and advocacy. As the Founder and Principal of Our Work, LLC since November 2020, Danne leads a collective focused on racial equity, employee engagement, and intercultural development. A tenured Professor of Law at Oklahoma City University since June 2003, Danne teaches a diverse array of law courses, including Civil Practice & Procedure, Corporations, and Securities Regulation. In addition to academic roles, Danne serves as a Corporate Trainer for the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits and previously held significant positions such as Hearing Officer for the Oklahoma Department of Securities and Arbitrator for FINRA. Danne's career also includes notable experience at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, where responsibilities included supervising investigations and training attorneys. Danne holds a JD from The George Washington University Law School and a BA in African American Studies from the University of Pennsylvania.
