Karen Leonard

Karen Leonard, Ph.D., serves as the Program Manager for Education Technology and Micro-credentials at the Oklahoma State Department of Education since May 2019, and has held various director-level positions focused on educational technology and instructional design. Concurrently, Karen serves as an Adjunct Professor at Oklahoma Christian University since August 2022. Prior roles include Regional Coordinator at Oklahoma A+ Schools and part-time Computer Science Teacher at Edmond Public Schools. For nearly two decades, Karen worked at Mount Paran Christian School, taking on multiple teaching and specialist roles, with earlier teaching experiences at Lockheed Elementary and Buckeye Valley Local Schools. Karen holds a Ph.D. in Learning, Design, and Technology from Oklahoma State University, alongside advanced degrees in instructional technology and curriculum development.
