Dennis Johnston

Dennis Johnston, CDME, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the hospitality and tourism industry, having operated as a self-employed CEO since October 2013. Previously, Johnston served as Vice President of Sales at Lexington Convention and Visitors Bureau from April 2005 to May 2013, and held a similar position at White Lodging Services from 1999 to 2005. Prior to these roles, Johnston worked as Director of Marketing for Marriott Hotels from 1983 to 2005, and began a career in hospitality as Banquet Manager at Dunfey Hotels from 1978 to 1980. Johnston holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Zoology from Ohio University, earned between 1972 and 1976.
