Lynn McGrath

Lynn McGrath is an accomplished classical guitarist and educator with extensive experience in teaching and music administration. Currently serving as the Director of Regional Symposia and Artistic Director for the Guitar Foundation of America since June 2014, Lynn also holds the position of Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Oklahoma City University, providing private guitar instruction to undergraduate and graduate classical guitar majors. Previous roles include positions as an adjunct at Central New Mexico Community College, an instructor in the University of New Mexico's Preparatory Program, and a guitar instructor at Sandia Preparatory School. Lynn's earlier experience includes serving as Tour Director for the Guitar Foundation of America and performing as a classical guitarist from 1997 to 2011. Lynn's academic credentials include a Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts in Classical Guitar Performance from the University of Southern California, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Language and Literature, Education, and Music from the State University of New York College at Potsdam.
