Stephanie Mode has extensive work experience in the field of grants and contracts. Stephanie worked at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, where they started as a Manager of Grants and Contracts in December 2010 and later became the Director of Grants and Contracts in July 2021. Prior to that, they worked at UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas as a Program Coordinator from September 1999 to April 2010. In this role, they managed the development and oversight of various departmental programs, including a 15 million dollar NIH-sponsored biodefense research program and various grant and training programs.

Stephanie Mode completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Leadership and Organizational Development at Oklahoma Christian University from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology from Texas A&M University-Commerce, where they studied from 1994 to 1997.
