Glenn Quinn

Glenn Quinn has a diverse work experience in the field of BIM (Building Information Modeling) and construction management. Glenn started their career as a CAD Manager at Kearney Electric in 2002, where they established the CAD department and implemented CAD workflow using AutoCAD and NavisWorks. Glenn also designed and produced interactive close-out CDs and prepared as-built drawings.

In 2007, Glenn joined University Mechanical as a Detail Support Manager and BIM/VDC Manager. Glenn was responsible for providing detailed 3D designs for commercial and industrial construction projects. Glenn also managed the creation of 2D deliverable backgrounds and standardized construction disciplines. Glenn utilized 3D scanning technology to merge real-world data with 3D models.

Moving forward, Glenn worked as a Western Regional BIM Manager for Total Facility Solutions in 2013. Glenn was hired to lead the Recovery Team at Intel and resolve the company's issues related to underestimating a project. Glenn'sresponsibilities included hiring staff, updating computer systems, acquiring a centralized server, and providing training on various software. Glenn also ensured the proper installation of all systems by following Intel's BIM process.

In 2016, Glenn served as a Consultant and took up the role of BIM Director at D.P. Electric, Inc., where they worked on a three-month contract. Glenn then continued their consultancy work as a BIM Director for different companies, including a brief period at ENGworks in 2017. At ENGworks, Glenn accepted the position of BIM Project Manager for the Resorts World project in Las Vegas, which presented significant challenges in the BIM world.

Glenn's next position was as a BIM Manager at Kearney Electric, Inc. starting in 2018. Glenn held this role until June 2020, overseeing the BIM operations of the company.

Currently, Glenn is working as a Senior BIM Manager at Okland Construction since March 2022.

Glenn Quinn's education history includes attending the University of Advancing Technology from 1996 to 2000. During this time, they pursued a degree in Digital Animation and successfully obtained a Bachelor of Art in the field of Digital Animation.
