Chris Calavitta

Chris Calavitta serves as the Head of Project Finance at Oklo Inc, overseeing a team focused on securing non-recourse project debt and tax equity for advanced nuclear small modular reactor projects since December 2025. Previously, as Vice President of Structured Finance at Lightsource bp, Chris led over US$1.8 billion in innovative financing transactions. Chris founded Calavitta Advisors LLC, providing financial consulting services, and held senior roles at Macquarie Group, Brookfield Renewable, RES, Panda Energy International, Dioscuri Partners, TrinTel Communications, and Classic Communications, accumulating expertise in project finance, mergers and acquisitions, and energy development throughout a distinguished career in renewable energy and finance. Chris holds a B.S. in Finance from Tulane University.
