Julia Scott has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. Starting in 2013, they worked as a Customer Advisor at CalMac Ferries Limited. In 2014, they transitioned to Arnold Clark Drum, where they served as a Yacht Crew member. In 2015, they joined the Medical Devices Unit at NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde as a Trainee Clinical Scientist, later becoming a Clinical Scientist. Concurrently, they also worked as an Honorary Research Assistant at the University of Glasgow from 2017 to 2019. In 2019, they joined OKRA.ai as a Data Engineer and later took on the role of AI Data Engineering Lead. Additionally, they served as a Public Advisory Board Member at Health Data Research UK from 2020 to early 2023.
Julia Scott completed their Bachelor of Science in Physics at the University of St Andrews from 2011 to 2015. Julia then pursued a Master of Science in Medical Physics at the University of Glasgow from 2015 to 2016. In April 2019, Julia obtained the certification of Clinical Scientist from The Health and Care Professions Council.
