Chris Augenstein

Chris Augenstein is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the technology and telecommunications sectors. Currently serving as SVP and General Manager for the Americas at Okta since October 2025, Augenstein previously held senior leadership roles at Nutanix and VMware, focusing on sales and strategy for the Americas. A significant tenure at Cisco spanned two decades, where Augenstein advanced through various roles, including Vice President for Global Enterprise Segment and Director of Strategy and Planning. Early career experience includes a Global Account Manager position at AT&T Business. Augenstein holds an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business with a triple major in Finance, International Business, and Management, along with additional qualifications from Harvard Business School and Stanford University.
