Larissa Schwartz

Larissa Schwartz is Okta’s Chief Legal Officer (CLO). She leads the company’s global legal, compliance, and government affairs teams supporting Okta’s vision of freeing everyone to safely use any technology. She joined Okta’s legal team in 2015 to lead the legal team through the company’s IPO. Prior to becoming CLO, Larissa assumed increasing responsibilities building the Corporate Governance, Compliance and Ethics, Corporate and Securities, Employment, Litigation, and Stock Administration teams, as well as supporting Corporate Development in their M&A, Strategic Transactions, and Okta Ventures work. She also serves as a strategic advisor on initiatives across the company.

Prior to joining Okta, Larissa worked as Director, Corporate Counsel at Jazz Pharmaceuticals and as a corporate associate at Fenwick & West’s Mountain View office and at Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett’s Palo Alto office.

Larissa received her J.D. from the University of Hawai’i William S. Richardson School of Law and holds a B.A. in Chinese Language and Literature from Middlebury College and an M. Phil. in Chinese History and M.A. in East Asian Studies from Yale University.
