John May

John May is currently the Head of Sales at Okteto. Prior to this, they were the Vice President of Sales at Remote from August 2020 to January 2022. John was also previously with GitLab, Inc. from February 2017 to August 2020 where they were a Senior Strategic Account Executive and top performer. John has extensive experience in sales, GTM strategy, and building sales teams. John has also won awards for their performance and led the "Top Account Team." Some of their notable enterprise-level customers include Goldman Sachs, BNY Mellon, Dell EMC, and Verizon.

John May attended the University of Colorado Boulder, where they received a BS in Communication. John then attended the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business, where they received an MBA. Finally, they attended Glenbard West.
