Gert Dekegel

Gert Dekegel serves as the Global Head of Enterprise Risk at OKX since March 2024, having previously held the Head of Enterprise Risk, Liquidity Risk, and Risk Reporting positions at BlockFi from April 2021 to March 2024, alongside a role as Director of Risk. Prior experience includes consulting in Risk & Compliance Management at McKinsey & Company from December 2017 to December 2020, and serving as Vice President of Market Risk at MUFG from January 2015 to December 2017. Gert Dekegel also led Risk Transformation at ING from 2012 to 2014 and worked in various engineering roles at Rockwell Automation from November 2004 to September 2010. Gert Dekegel holds a Master of Financial Engineering (MFE) from UCLA Anderson School of Management, an MBA from Vlerick Business School, and a BA and MS in Electrical Engineering and Applied Physics from Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
