Nicole Yeong

Nicole Yeong has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Nicole most recently worked as the Head of Internal Communications, Global at Olam Agri starting from January 2024. Prior to that, from September 2022 to December 2023, they were the Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, APAC at JLL. Nicole also worked as the Director of Internal Communications Asia Pacific at JLL from March 2017 to September 2022.

Before their roles at JLL, Nicole worked as a Teacher of English as a second language at CA International College from March 2016 to March 2017. This experience provided their with insights into different cultures and how English can be used with empathy.

Nicole's previous experience includes roles at Tetra Pak, where they served as the Communications Director Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines from January 2014 to April 2015, and as the Communications Manager from March 2011 to January 2014.

Nicole also worked as the Public Relations Manager, Asia Pacific at GE Energy from June 2007 to June 2010, and as an Account Manager at Fleishman-Hillard from 2005 to 2007.

Earlier in their career, Nicole worked as a Journalist at The Edge Communications from April 2003 to September 2004, and at New Straits Times from January 2001 to July 2001.

Nicole'scareer in the media industry began as a Broadcast Journalist at ntv7 from October 1998 to December 2000.

Nicole Yeong earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Liberal Arts with a focus on Journalism from the University of Iowa between 1995 and 1997. Nicole then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Development Studies with a specialization in Economics Policies for Developing Countries at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2001 to 2002. Additionally, Nicole obtained certifications in Agile at Work: Planning with Agile User Stories and Scrum: The Basics from LinkedIn in 2021.
