Nick S.

Nick S. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Nick started their career at Dairy Farmers of America as a Desktop Support specialist, troubleshooting software and hardware issues for 250 users. Nick then moved on to Internal Medicine Associates of Olathe as a Head Medical Technologist, where they operated various diagnostic analyzers and performed manual testing procedures. After that, they worked at Sonora Quest Laboratories as a Medical Technologist, specializing in hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, and tumor marker analysis.

In 2005, Nick joined Banner Health as an I/T Systems Consult, leading multiple conversions and software upgrades for hospital laboratories. Nick also played a crucial role in designing and implementing Clinical Reporting and Discern Applications. Nick later became the I/T Discern Program Manager, where they developed Clinical Decision Support rules and improved documentation rates as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act initiative.

Nick joined Olathe Health in 2012 as a Clinical Analyst III, and then moved on to Olathe Health System, Inc. as a Clinical Systems Software Manager. Currently, Nick holds the position of Chief Information Officer at Olathe Health, responsible for overseeing technology planning and applications.

Nick S. earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences from Rockhurst University in 2003. Nick later pursued a Masters of Information System Management degree with a focus on Healthcare Management at Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University from 2007 to 2010.
