Chad Payne is a Marine Veteran with extensive experience in the transportation and maintenance sectors. Currently serving as a Regional Maintenance Manager for Old Dominion Freight Line since January 2023, Chad oversees the performance of five shops across the Southwest Region, focusing on productivity, efficiency, and maintenance of over 8,000 pieces of equipment. Previous roles include Regional Service Manager at DEUTZ Corporation, where Chad developed a new facility layout and built an eight-person technician team, as well as Service Foreman at Southwest International Trucks. From 2003 to 2018, Chad held various positions in truck maintenance and service, including Diesel Technician and Senior Field Service Diesel Technician, after beginning a career in the United States Marine Corps as an Electronics Technician and Shop Supervisor. Chad holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Dealership Operations Management and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Tarrant County College.
