Eric Garcia

Eric Garcia is a Postdoctoral Research Associate and Research Manager at Old Dominion University since January 2019, focusing on "The Philippines PIRE Project" at the Carpenter lab. Previously, Eric was a PhD student at UC Santa Cruz from 2013 to January 2019, where a Doctor of Philosophy in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology was obtained. Eric's academic training includes a Bachelor of Science in Ecology, Behavior and Evolution from UC San Diego and various international experiences in marine biology, tropical biology, and sustainability. Notably, Eric completed internships and study abroad programs at prestigious institutions such as the University of Zurich and the University of Cape Town.
