Brendan Wagner

Brendan Wagner is a Junior Quantitative Trader at Old Mission since August 2023, following a role as a Quantitative Trader at Virtu Financial from June to August 2022. Prior to that, Brendan served as a Research Assistant at the MIT Energy Initiative from January 2020 to January 2022, where responsibilities included writing a user manual for SESAME software, identifying software errors, converting code from R and Excel to Python, and developing economic and carbon analysis modules. Brendan also mentored young swimmers as a Swim Coach for the Elmhurst Swim Team from October 2017 to July 2019 and ensured orderly conduct as a Soccer Referee for the Lombard Park District from April 2016 to June 2018. Brendan holds a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, completed in 2023, and received a High School Diploma from Northridge Preparatory School in 2019.
