Garth Napier

Garth Napier currently serves as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Pepkor Holdings Limited since August 2024, following a brief sabbatical. Prior to this role, Garth held significant leadership positions, including Managing Director at Old Mutual Insure from November 2018 to April 2024, and Managing Director at PEP Africa between February 2017 and October 2018. Garth's extensive experience at Edcon spanned from May 2008 to November 2016, where responsibilities included Chief Executive of the Specialty Division and the Discount Division, overseeing numerous well-known retail brands and a substantial network of stores across Africa. Earlier career experience includes serving as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company from January 2000 to February 2008. Garth holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
