Joycelyn S. began their career at C & F Bank in 2003 as Vice President & Commercial Lender, a role they held until 2011. In 2011, they joined Old Point National Bank as Vice President / Commercial Relationship Manager - Lead Underwriter, later becoming Senior Vice President / Credit Underwriter Manager in April 2021. Joycelyn has extensive experience in commercial lending and underwriting, with a focus on managing credit risk and building relationships with commercial clients.

Joycelyn S. obtained a BBA in Finance from Florida International University - College of Business in 1987. Joycelyn later earned an MSM in Management from Hampton University in 1992. In 2006, they attended the Virginia Bankers Association at the University of Virginia for the School of Bank Management. In 2012, Joycelyn obtained a Credit Risk Certification from The Risk Management Association.
