Prior to this role, Etienne had a lengthy tenure at Clifford Chance LLP, where responsibilities included serving as a Partner and Associate from September 1990 to April 2014. Etienne earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in Law from the University of Bristol, where studies were completed from 1984 to 1987, and attended Uppingham School from 1979 to 1983.
