Rhys Simmons

Rhys Simmons is the current Director of Interpretation at Old Sturbridge Village. Prior to this role, they were the Marketing Specialist at Old Sturbridge Village from June 2016 to April 2019. Simmons began their career at Old Sturbridge Village as a Marketing Intern from May 2015 to May 2016. Rhys also worked as an On Call Mailing Assembler at Bassette Printers from August 2013 to April 2014. In addition, Simmons served as the Co-Coordinator at Wilbraham United Church from June 2013 to August 2014.

Rhys Simmons earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication and Media Studies with a minor in Spanish from Western New England University.

Their manager is James Donahue, President & CEO. They are on a team with Lisa DeTora - Principal, Old Sturbridge Academy, Samantha Naring - Assistant Director of Public Programs, and Ellen Taviano - Director of Retail Operations.
