Olivier Canuel

Olivier Canuel is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the insurance and finance sectors. Currently serving as the Directeur Général & Cofondateur at Olea Insurance Solutions since January 2017, Olivier is responsible for developing a pan-African insurance brokerage network. Prior to this role, Olivier was the CEO of Société de conseil 2031, focusing on insurance consulting for emerging markets, and held the position of Head of Anglophone Africa & Middle East at WTW, where responsibilities included budget management and strategic implementation across regional subsidiaries. As Managing Director at Gras Savoye Côte d'Ivoire, Olivier successfully managed a team of 140, achieving significant revenue growth. Additional experience includes leadership roles in international finance and economic development, having worked in various capacities at BNP Paribas and the French Embassy in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Olivier holds degrees in International Finance and Development Economics from prestigious institutions, including Sciences Po and Université Alcala De Henares.
