Tony Wong has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Tony began their career as a Law Clerk to the Justices at the Ontario Court of Appeal, where they conducted complex legal research and prepared concise legal memos for the judges. Later, they joined the law firm Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP as a Partner, specializing in litigation. During their time there, they successfully defended a high-profile libel claim against a major Canadian newspaper. Additionally, Tony served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Osgoode Hall Law School from 2002 to 2007. Since 2012, they have been with OLG, where they held various senior roles including Vice-President Legal Services & Litigation and, more recently, Senior Vice President Governance, Legal and Compliance, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. In these positions, they provided strategic legal advice and managed a wide range of legal matters for the company.

Tony Wong attended Osgoode Hall Law School from 1993 to 1996, where they obtained an LL.B degree in Law. Prior to that, from 1990 to 1993, they pursued a B.A. degree in Political Science at the University of Toronto. More recently, in 2018, Tony enrolled in the Queen's Strategic Planning and Leading Change Program at the Smith School of Business at Queen's University, focusing on Business Administration and Management.
