David Knutson

David Knutson has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries. David began their career as a Carpenter, Welder, and Operator at Watterson Construction Co. from 2002 to 2005. Following that, they worked as a Staff Engineer at Maul Foster & Alongi, Inc. from 2010 to 2013, providing engineering and environmental consulting services to municipal and industrial clients.

In 2013, David joined Turnagain Consulting, LLC as a Principal Data Manager, where they provided technical outreach and data infrastructure design for various clients. David then transitioned to URS Corporation as an Engineer for a brief period in 2014.

David's career took a significant turn in 2014 when they joined Olgoonik Corporation. David held several roles in the company, including Lands Manager from 2017 to 2021, Stock Manager from 2018 to 2021, and Director of Corporate Lands from 2022 to 2023. As the Director of Corporate Lands and Resources, they managed ANCSA land holdings, developed policies, and engaged with lawmakers and policy groups to advocate for positive change.

Additionally, in 2023, they acquired the Wilderness First Responder certification from the Wilderness Medicine Training Center.
