Chris Boggess

Chris Boggess has extensive experience in the biotechnology and diagnostics industry. Chris most recently served as the Chief Executive Officer at Oligo Factory, starting in December 2021. Prior to that, they were the Chief Business Officer at DiscernDx from March 2021 to December 2021. From 2016 to 2021, they held the position of VP, Business Development at seqWell, where they played a key role in revolutionizing sequencing sample prep. Chris also served as the Managing Partner at Tempus Ventures, LLC from 2016 to 2020. Chris has held various leadership roles in marketing, product development, and strategic marketing at companies like Boston Heart Diagnostics, KEW Group Inc., Quest Diagnostics, Celera Corporation, and Berkeley HeartLab, Inc. Their experience spans strategic marketing, commercialization strategies, product launches, and business development in the biotech sector.

Chris Boggess earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Saint Louis University, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science with Research in Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Biotechnology, also at Saint Louis University, from 1997 to 1999.
