Dr Sarah Bateup has been working in the mental health field since 1994. Dr Sarah began their career as the Founder of the Plymouth Primary Care CBT Service. In 2009, they joined The Maudsley Hospital as a Senior CBT Therapist, where they provided CBT training and clinical supervision for junior doctors. From 2012 to 2013, they held the role of Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and Lecturer at the Tutor and Supervisor Exeter University, as well as Associate Lecturer Mary Seacole Programme at the Open University Business School. In 2013, they joined Ieso Digital Health (formerly PsychologyOnline) as Clinical Director, where they had overall clinical responsibility for a team of 350 CBT therapists. In 2020, they became the Head of Therapy Research and Training at COMPASS Pathways plc. In 2021, they moved to Oliva as Chief Clinical Officer. Dr Sarah is currently the Therapy Lead at Clerkenwell Health, where they are determined to amplify the effect of mental health treatments through digital therapeutics.
Dr Sarah Bateup has completed Advanced Clinical Supervision from King's College London.
