Stephen Christensen is the Chief Development Officer at Olive Crest and the founder of Teen Entrepreneur Academy (TEA). Stephen started TEA in 2012 as a one-week summer training academy for high school students who want to learn how to start a new business. The program has since grown to include students from 10 different states and three countries.
Christensen's background is in entrepreneurism and education. Stephen started their first business at the age of 19, and they have been teaching teenagers about business since 2008. In addition to running TEA, Christensen has also taught at the Kid Entrepreneur Academy (KEA) and the Teen Entrepreneur Academy-summer high school business start up camp.
Christensen is passionate about helping teenagers learn the principles of innovation and entrepreneurship. Stephen believes that it's never too early to teach teens about business, and they hope that TEA will inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs.
Stephen Christensen has a Master of Arts in Theology/Theological Studies from Concordia University Irvine, an ABD in Higher Education from the University of Southern California, and a BA in Political Science from California State University, Fullerton. Stephen also has certification from the Association of Fund Raising Professionals (AFP) in Certified Fund Raising Executive (ACFRE) and from Nehemiah Project International Ministries in Certified Instructor-Biblical Principles of Entrepreneurship (BE).
