Ashan Walpita

Ashan Walpita is an accomplished finance and operations professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within various organizations. Currently serving as Vice President of Finance & Operations at Olive Tree Capital since September 2019, Ashan previously founded OODOW, Inc., focusing on disease prediction and monitoring in agriculture from October 2018 to September 2019. At PanelClaw, Inc., from February 2010 to September 2018, Ashan held multiple positions including Vice President of Operations, responsible for overseeing manufacturing, logistics, and customer service, and Director of Supply Chain & Logistics, managing supply chain responsibilities across North America. Ashan began the career at RCG Ventures LLC. as an Analyst, contributing to early-stage venture capital efforts, and further honed skills as President of the Boston University Undergraduate Investment Fund and Summer Analyst at Scientia Advisors. Ashan holds a BS in Business Administration and a BA in International Relations from Boston University.
