Rachel Soeder has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the design field. Rachel began their career as a Lead Graphic Designer at Garland Creative, where they developed marketing programs for a major medical company. Rachel then transitioned to working as an Art Director, leading creative projects across branding, packaging, websites, and presentations as a self-employed freelancer. Afterward, they joined Marriott International as a Design Team Lead, managing creative projects for a major hospitality portfolio. Rachel later became the Design Director for Marriott International's Field Marketing division, where they built a team from scratch and focused on fostering talent and encouraging creative collaboration. Due to the global pandemic, they shifted roles within the company and supported various brands by evolving social strategies, shooting commercials, launching new product variants, and leading successful new business pilots. Currently, they are the Design Director for Pernod Ricard at OLIVER Agency, where they have expanded the brand portfolio and grown the creative team.
Rachel Soeder has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Design and Strategy from Northwestern University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Visual Communications from O'More College of Design. Additionally, they have obtained a Product Strategy Certificate from Northwestern University in April 2022.
