Virginia Ramirez

Virginia Ramirez has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Virginia is currently working as the Head of Video for Microsoft Latin America at OLIVER Agency. In their role, they are responsible for overseeing video production for Microsoft in the Latin America region.

Prior to their current position, Virginia worked at Crehana as a Digital Mentor for the MicroDegree Marketing Digital program. Virginia provided support and guidance to students, reviewed and certified projects, and conducted live classes.

Virginia also gained experience at Discovery Inc as a Writer Producer, where they managed social media, produced digital content, and coordinated the creative team and external agency. Virginia further enhanced their skills as a Content Producer at MundoLoco CGI, where they supervised work processes and collaborated with directors on TV show scripts.

Virginia has also worked as a Creative Copywriter at Viacom, where they were involved in creating promotional pieces and branding campaigns for Paramount Channel and Comedy Central in multiple countries.

Additionally, Virginia has worked as an Assistant Director and Creative Copywriter on a freelance basis for various production houses and clients, including Coca-Cola, Danette, DirecTV, and Mercado Libre.

Before pursuing their freelance career, Virginia worked as a Production Assistant at Turner Broadcasting System's Warner Channel and as a Writer at La Cosa Cine.

Throughout their career, Virginia has demonstrated strong skills in video production, content creation, copywriting, and project management across multiple platforms and industries.

Virginia Ramirez completed their degree in Film at Universidad del Cine from 2009 to 2014. In 2016, they participated in a postgraduate course at Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales on "Scriptures: Human Creativity and Communication." The following year, in 2017, they specialized in Narrative Journalism at Fundación Tomás Eloy Martínez/Editorial Perfil. In 2015, Virginia also attended a Summer School at Brother Escuela de Creativos.
