Anthony Garwood has extensive work experience in supply chain management, operations, and procurement. Anthony started their career as a Purchasing Intern at Abbott Laboratories in 2011. Later, they joined the Supply Chain Management Association (SCMA) as the Human Resources Director and Executive Board Member. In 2012, they worked as an Associate Purchasing Agent at Abbott, responsible for executing the procurement strategy for indirect categories. Anthony then moved on to roles as Systems and Product Evaluation Engineer and Operations Engineer at Abbott. In 2013, they became an Order Fulfillment Supervisor in the Professional Development Program, managing a team responsible for order fulfillment and inventory control. In 2014, they became a Supply Chain Planner at Abbott, responsible for planning production and meeting customer requirements. In 2015, they joined GE Aviation as a Global Commodity Manager, overseeing supplier selection and development. From 2017 to the present, they have held various roles at Oliver Healthcare Packaging, including Manufacturing Engineering Manager, Global ERP Operations Lead, and Sr. Global ERP Lead. In their current role as Director of Global SIOP, they are responsible for the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.
Anthony Garwood attended Michigan State University - The Eli Broad College of Business from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management. In March 2017, they received the certification of "30 Under 30 Rising Supply Chain Star" from THOMASNET.
